Strangely, that recording sounds really loud even though I'm listening at a reasonable level...

Moving on swiftly (that Feeder album really was short time-wise...), some stuff I haven't listened to MANY years:

Moloko - Do you like my tight sweater?

Howie B - Turn the dark off

Howie B -  Music for babies

(Safari don't like me artwork images seems 😱( ...)

1st time listening to this and, as a long time Alan Parsons Project fan, I'm not convinced by most of it. At this stage I can understand why AP never wanted to use some of this material but I'll give it another chance. It might just be my mood today...

Lonely Boy

I certainly can Spacehopper -

It's a work composed from treated samples of acoustic instruments, sounding somewhat along the lines of Morton Feldman's work with long drawn out bowed sounds. bernhard günter (you always write his without capitols!) together with Richard Chartier and Steve Roden are leading exponents of what used to loosely be called lowercase - a term coined by Mr. Roden to describe a kind of near silent minimalistic music where sounds "don't draw attention to themselves".

I bought this a few years ago directly from trente oiseax, bernhard's own record label, but that closed down a few years ago. It should still be available from Forced Exposure or Metamkine for a lot less than £45!

Edit: it is available from microsuoni.

This is growing on me after another listen. I'm not sure about the production - its a bit sterile - and its never going to match up to the AP back catalogue, but its quite pleasant for an easy listen.

Toys In The Attic (1975) and Rocks (1976). Two cracking albums that I will never grow tired of. I never can decide which one I prefer, you know.

Wishbone Ash “There's the rub”
Led Zep 3
Rush “Permanent Waves” sounded fabulous
Sutherland Brothers and Quiver “Dream Kid”
Deep Purple “Burn”
Santana “Caravanserai” all off Vinyl and
Eric Clapton “August” CD.
A pretty good session
