Got the Barclay James Harvest bug off Matthewpiano so played "Once Again" off vinyl

On vinyl as we speak, sublime - Jonny Trunk is a genius for finding and re-issuing this and also for digging up a vinyl copy for me. Top Man.

Fantastic...I've been introduced to some incredible music from Nightwish to Tchaikovsky. Thanks and long may it continue!

And listening to at the moment...Obscured by Clouds by Pink Floyd.

Outstanding.

It's always fascinating to find out what type of music everybody is listening to and has been the way I've found most of my favourite music over the years. I use emusic now for my downloads as it suits my taste in music better (especially their Jazz section - I have found some incredibly rare albums on it much to my delight !). You should check it out.

Today I am listening to Quiet is the new loud, by Kings of Convenience.

Yesterday I was listening to Alphabetical, by Phoenix, which for some reason sounds absolutely stunning on my system. Not that my system doesn't sound nice anyway, but this one record seems to blow everything else away. Just very well mastered perhaps.

If you like King Crimson try David Sylvian ex of Japan. Streamed off Spotify.......

P.S - Pink Floyd, Obscured by Clouds, brilliant, favourites are 'Wots...uh the deal' and 'Free four'.

Now this thread has passed 100 pages and is still going strong, hats off to Fast Eddie, the OP and his opening words.....

Asia - Asia,

Fabulous album every song a bona fide classic - IMO naturally. Serving as a warm up for seeing them tonight at the Royal Hall, Harrogate. I've always been a big fan of the 'classic' line up from the start in '82 but never got to see them live, so anticipation is quite high.

This afternoon I watched a youth production of “Les Miserables” which was fabulous, and tonight as I'm the only one in I've played
Deep Purple “Burn” off vinyl
Wishbone Ash “Pilgrimage” new CD that arrived today. I'd love to know why I never bought this when it came out in 1971?
Then played Marillion “Script for a Jesters tear” track to do a CD V TT comparison.
Thin Lizzy “Black Rose” Remastered CD that arrived today. Didn't realise this was remastered when I ordered. I only ever had this on tape
Mountain “Live Nantucket Sleighride” track off vinyl.
Now on Robin Trower “Bridge of Sighs” vinyl
Might finish with a Clapton CD. It's been a good day.
