Krallice - Dimensional Bleedthrough - awesome. If you like technical avant metal check this out - it's like standing in a hurricane. Blisteringly good.
Surfer Blood - Astro Coast - debut from young floridians is reverb and hook laden treat.
Absolutely phenominal anthemic, metallic, blues and jazz infused prog rock with mellow duel male vocals. Potentially going to knock Anekdoten off the top spot for best Scandinavain Prog Rock band, Motorpyscho from Tronheim in Norwayand their latest album 'Heavymetalfruit'.
Motorpsycho's first album 'Lobotomizer'. It has little of the future prog sound to come. Instead it is a rocker that sounds like Black Sabbath meets Iggy and The Stooges with an acid trip.
From Switzerland, Shora who play a fast and furious hardcore form of post rock. The album is called 'Malval' and is highly recommended, no really it is.........
PS - I promise you all that I am not making any of this up. Post rock, primarily from the US and Europe and Prog Rock from Europe is the best music I have found since I first discovered music. I am still hunting down bands from Spain, Portugal and Austria and that will be Europe (including The Fareos) covered. France has very little and of the former Eastern Block only Poland and Uzbekistan has come up with the goods. The others have bands, but I have yet to find one worth posting about. None of you read this stuff anyway, but I am happy.
idc: laserman16:Well I've read it and I'm glad your happy.
Thanks laserman, but have you been inspired to listen to any of it?
idc I read your posts with interest and I'm building a list of future listening from them. When I'm off work next I'm planning a Spotify day and I'll let you know how I get on.

Thanks for that lazerman and matthew. Parlour, a band from Kentucky who have this EP on Spotify. Its is Tortoise/Kraftwerk popped up and more dynamic. A real foot tapper, especially the track 'Hive Fives' and at the easy listening end of post rock.
99% of what I have been posting here is on Spotify and about 90% is available on Amazon, though often to order at stupid prices or as downloads only. Many an hour spent in the music shops in Glasgow has failed to find anything at all except Mogwei and Tortoise, who are only in Fopp, occasionally, and it is the same two albums. Most shops have not even heard of Tortoise. I have had even less success with Scandinavian Prog, Progarchives.com providing most of the information.
Diamond Joe, nice session there, though I did not get onto IQ.
From Portland, Oregon Eluvium and the album is 'Copia'. Keyboard lead orchestral ambient which could easily have been written as a film sound track. Very symphonic and passionate music and I would recommend it to fans of Enya.
Nothing to do with Eric Clapton, everything to do with classic do-wop - the Dominoes line-up included one Jackie Wilson (note BBC, Jackie Wilson, soul singer, not Jocky Wilson, darts player
