Still Post Rocking, more mellow with EF from Sweden

and from Texas, Balmorhea. They are more folky and feature the banjo a lot. But it is beautiful, soulful, mellodic and powerful music. Highly recommended.

From Seattle, Beast, Please be Still, who have a 1970s King Crimson vibe going on and Pele, who I thought I had heard of but this is the post rock band from Millwaulkie, Wisconsin. They have a jangly guitar fronting floating rhythms and noises. Both are excellent.

Cougar, who are from Madison in Wisconsin. Heavy post rock that is closer to prog in my mind. This is now my favourite post rock album. Brilliant sound, sounds, use of a wide range of instrument, styles and not one weak track. Fantastic.
