Two great albums by great songwriters and performers. I know both Elton John and Billy Joel get knocked by quite a lot of people but nothing changes the quality of their earlier albums. Excellent stuff.

On Spotify, tucked amongst Ritual, the Swedish prog rock band is Ritual, the German metal band. Both Rituals are very good indeed......

(To avoid confusion, the album Beneath Aging Flesh and Bones is by the German, metal band Ritual, in-case you were wondering)

I've listened to all 4 sides, I was never a Beatles fan when I was a kid or a teenager, a mate has lent me most of their albums on vinyl and I've listened to most of them, most for the first time ever and I'm still not a fan 40 years later.
At least Frampton did a great cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
