Rory Gallagher Cd The rest off vinyl. First time I've ever heard the White Album.

I bought the cd a few weeks back ... different ... listen to track 9 on the 2nd cd (revolution)

I've listened to all 4 sides, I was never a Beatles fan when I was a kid or a teenager, a mate has lent me most of their albums on vinyl and I've listened to most of them, most for the first time ever and I'm still not a fan 40 years later.
At least Frampton did a great cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

The white album is the only beatles cd I have ... and only bought it because it was cheap at a charity shop ... must confess, I have only listened to it twice ... the recording quality is pretty good though

Epica - `Design Your Own Universe` (spotify)

Excellent, epic, operatic, prog metal from the Dutch band Epica. If you like this try another Dutch band called Ayreon who also produce music on a mighty, grand scale.

Amorphis, Secret Machines and the Polish band Riverside are my three favourite metal bands. I got all excited by the appearence of another Riverside album on Spotify called 'Newspeak'. But they are Canadian and it is bland compared to this......

Thanks idc. I am actually already an Ayreon fan and I have three of his albums. `Into The Electric Castle`, `The Human Equation` and `01011001`. The last two are the special editions with dvd`s and they are very nice indeed! I collect stuff which features members of Mostly Autumn who are one of my favourite bands and it was through Heather Findlays involvement on `The Human Equation` that I discovered Ayreon. Incidentally, I also have an album featuring Ayreon called `Embrace The Storm` by Stream of Passion which I can highly recommend. Not sure if it`s on Spotify or not but if it is try track 7 which is called `Open Your Eyes`. This song is possibly my all time favourite song from this genre which is saying something because I have quite a bit of music by the likes of Nightwish, Within Temptation, Leaves Eyes etc. By the way I`d seen Ayreon mentioned a few times a while back and did mean to chip in but didn`t get round to it. Thanks again though. Next up I`m going to give the Kaipa album a go. That`s yet another one that I`d been meaning to try and had forgotten about until you reminded me the other day!

only two tracks in but it sounds so good. And a totally different voice from later albums.
