Upgrading AV amplifier Yamaha vs Onkyo

I am looking for advice as I am thinking of upgrading my Yamaha DSP AX620 and do not want to spend money only to get a slight increase in performance, I am thinking of buying the Onkyo TX-SR606 or the Yamaha DSP-AX763. can anyone tell me if either of these amplifiers will give me a good increase in performance or should I look at other more expensive models

Of the two I'd take the Yamaha AX763, but you could always go for the DSP-AX863SE at £600 which is our 2008 Product of the Year and wel worth the extra money.
