Admittedly, I'm no G'n'R fan, but even I know he spells his name 'Axl'.

My 3 are....

Opeth's Mikael Akerfeldt. Rare is the singer who can sing so well in both melodic singing and death-metal growling. Many can't do both. Most can't do one.

James Hetfield. The best hard rock vocalist out there.

Chris Cornell.
