Steve Perry (It`s so nice to FINALLY mention Steve Perry`s name without having to say which band he`s famous for singing with!)

Peter Gabriel

Bob Mould

Til Lindemann (for sheer bravery of singing in his own mother tongue and the guttural noise he creates!)

Frank Black

Nick Cave

Thom Yorke

I was just replying using quote.

Oooops. Done it again.

Here is my favorites:

1. Axl Rose

2. Bruce Dickinson

3 Gerard Way

Also like:

James Hetfield

Amy Lee

Myles Kennedy

Hahahaha, funny ... how did you know ? My last posting was written more tongue in cheek ... with a touch of serious ..never seemed to read that way I guess (forgot the
emotion-4.gif
maybe) the written word can be like that.

anyway how about

1. David Coverdale

2. Graham Bonnet

3. Mick Jagger

Mike Patton (Faith No More. And others)

Layne Staley (Alice in Chains)

Maynard James Keenan (Tool)

I wanna know who this "Axel" Rose fella is.

Admittedly, I'm no G'n'R fan, but even I know he spells his name 'Axl'.

My 3 are....

Opeth's Mikael Akerfeldt. Rare is the singer who can sing so well in both melodic singing and death-metal growling. Many can't do both. Most can't do one.

James Hetfield. The best hard rock vocalist out there.

Chris Cornell.

Is Mike Patton not more than a match for that Akerfeldt fella Chris? He must be one of the most versatile singers in rock.

Though my favs are:-

1. Plant
2. Beefheart
3. Scott
