This is one of those unusual films like Stardust - so unexpected yet so good. Having watched this at the Vue Cinema with my family - excellent sound and good picture I was looking forward to buying this on Blu Ray. Once released it was the picture that captivated me. Even on a LCD TV the quality is stunning. It was filmed mainly in New Zealand and the wee lad performed his own stunts - courtesy of BD 30 PiP commentry. It does not get any better than this. Have we now reached the limits of perfection with High Definition? Obviously 3D or Hologram technology is the way forward!
