Trainspotting on 4k - a genuinely brilliant film, funny, poignant, harrowing.
Definitely worth the investment - it's not eye-popping as it's quite subdued in it's palette, but there's greater detail. For example when Renton's trying to wean himself off heroin towards the start, the carrier bags he brings in are thin enough that you can see the magazines are of a 'jazz' nature through them. I'd also not noticed that after they've mugged the American tourist and are leaving the pub, you can see that the barman is trying on the American's coat.
