Subwoofer cable replacement

Good afternoon

Last night while sorting out some cables behind my cabinet I accidentally stood on my sub cable and the connector snapped (clumsy oaf :wall🙂. The cable is a chord chrimson and I'm now looking to replace it. My question is for 30-40 pounds for a metre cable is there a particular one that stands out or are they pretty much the same and it won't really matter which I choose? Have had a look on eBay as I don't mind second hand but can't really find anything.

I have tried several including QED, Chord, Van Damme and Nordost.

The best by a country mile is the QED Signature - well worth the money - exceptional build quality and I doubt you will get much better in terms of delivery signal integrity

Unfortunately my budget won't allow that at this time. Is the qed performance superior to the chord crimson do you think?

Providing it’s a quality cable with good screening and interconnects then it will not make the slightest difference about who makes it, so buy the cheapest you can find. (Ignore all this cable sounds different crap, as that’s all it is, and if you believe otherwise just do a blind test)

I make up my own cables using good quality screened cable and airlock crimped RCA connectors and they are as good as anything you can buy

We have the choice of a few different manufacturers for our secondary demo room, but we use the Crimson.
