Hi all,

After much thought I've come to conclusion that a soundbar is the way for me to go as opposed to a full surround system. I've read various reviews and the favourite at the moment is the Yamaha YSP-600, although I understand it requires adding a seperate sub?

I've also stumbled across the Yamaha YAS71 but I'm having trouble finding any good reviews for this product.

Does anyone have either of the above? Otherwise any advice on this would be great.

My budget is around £350 and it's to connect to a Panasonic BD35 blu-ray and a Panasonic 37"px10b plasma.

Cheers

In my opinion buy a sound bar and you will buy twice, the second time will be a proper suround system.

I have heard several and none managed to fool me for long, one whas so 'phasey' on certain scenes as to be almost unlistenable! Perhaps they work better in perfect review rooms or completely symetrical rooms with little or no clutter. Maybe ok for kids or bedrooom if you must but not for my ears alas.
