Sound bar position in the living room

My Tv is situated in the corner. Will I have a good sound effect if the soundbar is in the corner and not in the middle of the wall?

It may depend on the model of bar you have, or are considering, as the few I’ve come across have different settings for positioning. It might be worth studying the manuals, which are often freely available on manufacturer’ websites.

Certainly with some Hifi systems, listening on a diagonal, rather than square/facing a wall can give better results.

I considering the Sony . I have a look at the manual. Maybe I can place it in the middle and lave the TV in the corner. I do listen a lot to Tidal music as well. So experimenting is a option.
