Sony PS3, Sony 32d LCD & Teac DR-H300DAB

Please help, I am trying to get sound from Playstation through the Teac DR-H300DAB, I have connected PS3 via optical out with Chord cable, obviously missing a trick as to date no sound when I click Teac onto Aux input? Can anyone help. Thank you Simon.

Have a look at your PS3 settings. You will have to change the audio settings to optical out. It's default to scart. I had to change my settings when I got a new tv and moved to hdmi.

Thank you for getting back to me, just tried and no joy on either aux 1 or 2 with the teac? Any other idea's may as well give teac a call and see what they say? Thanks for your help
