Sony KDL40V3000 - any good?

Hi Guys, a well known High St chain are offering the KDL40V3000 LCD and BDPS300 Blu Ray player for a grand. I know the TV is about to be, or already has, been replaced by the W range. This is a pretty good deal but was wondering if anyone had any comment on the TV?

We've only tested the KDL-40W3000 I'm afraid, which was excellent - never got our hands on the V series, but Sony sets are usually pretty good. The BDP-S300 Blu-ray player is tested in the May issue of What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision, on sale now.
