Should I wait or should I Buy ?

Have been looking at 4K would like to buy a Panasonic tx-l65wt600 and a good surround sound that would be 4k compatible, but spotted this deal "Sony 65 4K ultra hd tv KD65X9005ABU" £2759.96 plus thinking of getting the Harman Kardon BDS 880 Price £1000 or BDS 877 at £950. Should I let it go and wait 6-12 months and let the Home cinema systems catch up ?

The Sony TV is quite old now but the price is good, I think people were saying the 4K is not very compatible and to wait, perhaps someone can confirm this? The Panasonic TV has a very good black level rating and is probably the better TV but again I am not sure with the future proof.

Yes, that Sony model is old and not compatible with the latest codec.

Thank you Big Boss, wow that was some reply (a lot of it a bit over my head) but has made me stop and think and save money, to see what happens next.
