Roksan TR5 speakers

Hi,

I am thinking of giving the Roksan TR5 speakers a try. I currently have Monitor Audio RX2's, with Roksan K2 amplifier and Rega Apollo cd player. I appreciate that the Roksans wouldnt have the bass presence of the MA's but wondered how they would compare with levels of detail etc? Are they a bright sounding speaker? Just wondered whether it would actually be a worthwhile upgrade?

Any thoughts would be great.

Hi Shaun,

I saw your post originally but have never heard the Roksan speakers. I've read some glowing reviews though.

It is likely to be quite a personal and room-dependent decision, so although someone reading might have heard both and have a preference, it is not actually very helpful to you. I might prefer blue to green, but you might prefer green, etc!

There is no substitute for a listen at home, which a good dealer will be happy to oblige (as long as you don't take the mick and then buy online).
