Place speakers from the wall

I'm playing with a set of Wharfedale EVO 30 speakers.

Can someone tell me how far i place my speakers from the wall to get the best results?

Hi if possible 12 inches from the back wall and side walls, a bit more if you have the room

Bower's recommend 50 CM from the wall and between 150 and 300 CM apart...what sounds best to you?
