PIONEER LX-59 AND B&W MT60D

Has anyone got the above combination? Or actually heard the above?

While trying to sort out an issue with my VSX-LX55, i was offered a deal on the LX-59. Having took the plunge, and wired it up into my system i said that the speakers i have now (KEF eggs) were definately lacking.

My local retailer has now offered me another cracking deal on the MT60D's taking the eggs in part exchange, but i haven't heard the MT60D's or know any dealers locally who have them to listen to.

Can anyone help?

I used to have a Pioneer vsx-lx70 with the B&W Mt30 and that sounded great and I have heard the Pioneer 52 with the MT20 and mt30 and they sounded great too.

Taken delivery of these bad boys now. Couldn't be happier

Hopefully, that's it now. I have spent enought, with replacing the TV, amp and now speakers,

but couldn't be happier with the result.

I have a PV1D and very happy with it. It gets stick from some for not going as low or loud as other cheaper subs, but it fits well in a modern apartment where you have to keep bass levels down any way.
