Hi

Any Panasonic 37 inch owners out there.....considering one of these 2 as you never hear about backlight problems (otherwise w5500) and Panasonic's are generally good for lag. I would have been tempted by a plasman 42g10 but I seriously have to limit my size to 37inch, and 37inch plasmas dont have the neo screen.....so LCD due to my bright room.

Welcome any owner feed back

Hi.

If 37" is the absolute maximum screen size you can go for, then these two models are worth a look, and the X10 might also be a solid contender if you can cope with the fact that it's HD ready as opposed to full 1080p? I had the same dilemma when choosing my TV -- I really didn't think I could accomodate a set larger than 37" -- but in the end I opted for the 42" G10 because it was simply a much better set. Are you viewing in a small room? I sit about 2.5 metres from my G10 and I don't find it overwhelming. The other advantage is that the G10 is incredibly cheap at the moment if you shop around, so you're getting a lot of bang for your buck.

I just got a 37inch G10 last weekend. I would have gone for a 42 but was restricted by "er indoors". At the risk of being accused of the double entendre, in her words, it was simply too big!. She may have been right as I have a pretty big living room (28x12) and this thing looks HUGE!

I've had a 28 inch Vega for donkeys years and to be honest, wasn't really looking to change it as the picture is, as good as the day I bought it, but couldn't look a gift horse when Mrs J suggested we look. I went for this model for the Freesat, just because I have an old sky dish, otherwise I would have probably gone for the U10 as it was on offer in Cosco. I'd done quite a bit of research and spent many a merry hour in shops looking at the display models and comparing picture qualities. I know this isn't a very realiable benchmark method but the Panasonics always seemed to look better. I'm not fully up to speed with the optimum setting as yet, I still have some fiddling to do (although I think you can get a bit obsessive with this), but the picture is fabola so far both for normal and SD broadcasts, I'm really pleased with it
