just got my copy of 'inglorious basterds' blu-ray and it wont play on my pani.Tried sofware update etc.After a bit of searching online ,it tuns out that I.B. and Crank 3 wont play on some sony and pani blu-ray players.Phone pani helpline who said they knew of problem with Crank 3 but not I.B. and to try disc with SD card in player if this didn't work then it just wont play certain discs.I'm furious,how can this be.What happens when more releases dont play.I've had the player 6 months,can I get my money back.By the way I've tried disc on samsung player and it works fine.Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Played this yesterday on my player and it was absolutely fine...I have yet to come across a dvd/blu-ray that it won't play.....been great so far.
If I get my money back for the disc,what happens when more films I like are released that dont play.The pani is profile 2.0 and supposed to be compatible with BD live discs .

Obviously a discerning player. IMO the film is pants so you may have saved yourself some time.

i thought i.b.was very good , even though im not a big tarantino fan , the performance of christoph waltz (the jewhunter) should get him an oscar , utterly brilliant imo...

Played it on my Pana Sunday and again it was fine. Enyoyed it too,sound track especially.Can"t explain your problem though.
