panasonic and sky hd settings

tv is 720p, should i leave sky box on auto or 1080i and let tv scale it or use 720p from sky box?

Whichever settings you feel gives the best result. There is no right/wrong answer, just personal preference...

In my experience the Sky HD box has an abysmal scaler in it. I would defo try the scaler on the TV by setting the sky box to auto. In my setup though (SKY HD and Older 720p Panasonic LCD), I found that my Denon AVR had the best scaler of the three so I let the AVR handle all the scaling duties.

Sorry,I Kent to say upscale but for some for some reason it came out wrong(I think it is the predictive words on my iPhone)thanks
