I would make The Dambusters a blu ray priority, it's amazing what they've done with it. Sound as well.

Have to say I love the Blu-ray player, and this'll sound odd, but when it comes to old black and white jobbies in particular I quite like a less than perfect picture. Just seems to me to look more authentic, thinking about the old scratchy Pathe newsreels and suchlike.

I've just ordered se#tet of James Bond films and 'The Lady Killers' on Blu-ray. Really do enjoy the old Ealing comedies/dramas.

(Quick update)

Spun The Lady Killers over the weekend and the picture quality is stunning. It all seems more 3-D and the detail is something else. Not yet had a chance to watch the Bond box-set, hopefully over the next few days I'll put that right.
