new subscriber- when will i get the mag that was out yesterday?!!!

pretty much as in the title, but ive had my direct debit approved in writing a couple weeks ago. so why have i not got my issue that was supposed to start reaching subscribers on friday the 11th? its in the shop as of yesterday 16th and i still havent got mine. what is the point of me subscribing to this?

anyone still awaiting theirs?

Hi there,

Did you have confirmation in your letter that it would start with the November issue? Typically takes @ a month or so for subscriptions to be activated.

Subscriptions issues were due to be dispatched last Thursday - as they always are the week ahead of the issue hitting shops - but due to the many reasons detailed in this thread, they only went into postal system on Saturday. From there on in, any delay is due to the Royal Mail's striking postmen, I'm afraid.

Sorry, but beyond our control - normal service resumed for next issue (again, post-strikes permitting).
