new pvr

my current pvr is on its last legs and i'm looking for a replacement

my shortlist is;

Topfield 5810 (worried how complex it may be to use /set-up)

Humax 9300(slow epg concerns)

TVonicZ250/500(lack of HDMI for easier connection to my amp)

any thoughts

Why not go for Humax FoxSat....a freesat PVR. I upgraded to this from the Humax 9200T when I didn't really need to and, to be honest, it wasn't worth it.

However, if you have to upgrade, I think it makes a lot of sense to get FreeSat. I got mine from Argos complete with an installation service.
