A live demo of this with a before and after blind test and the difference was clear. They also took measurements to prove it works

But read all the way to the end 'I’ve found the simplest way to dry discs is to shake the excess water off and simply lay the playing side of a CD on a piece of kitchen towel to soak up any excess.'

It is my expectation, that by doing this, the expensively cleaned CD, will no doubt be able to absorb wood residues, ink, binder etc from the kitchen towel, thereby creating a new film on its surface. This film can then be removed by purchasing a new sachet of cleaner - ad infinitum.......
