PLEASE - this is NOT about mains products performance !

I see Russ Andrews are now selling Euro mains sockets. Is someone able to tell me if their would be any legal or house insurance implications of fitting a couple and changing amp and CD player etc over to European plugs?

(we'll save the debate about sound quality for another day !

Thanks

Not at all: would see no reason for using them in this country, quite apart from the fact they wouldn't comply with safety regs, and the company does sell products outside the UK, so it's the only logical explanation.

Fuse-less plugs basically. I rewired mine without fuses and it made a huge difference. But I couldn't sleep at night thinking if the house burnt down and the insurers didn't cough up and my family would be homeless and our main asset gone for the sake of good hi fi!
