New Extension, update hi-fi?

Current kit; Denon PMA350II amp, Dual CS505 turntable, Yamaha CDX497 CD.

New extension is 7m x 4m with one end with a vaulted roof. This is where the hi-fi is going. Need to add some floorstanding speakers. Budget up to £250 and there seem to be a lot of bargains/deals in this area, see Superfi or Richer. All recommendations including replacement of existing components is appreciated. Main inputs are CD, Vinyl & possibly Ipod.

If you can up your budget around 50 quid the q acoustics 1050i have had some very good reviews. A lot of speaker for, relatively speaking,not a lot of money.
