My pre and powers died in the same week.

As the title says, my pre and powers died in the same week. The pre's a basic c2 and the powers a Basic m1A.

I've had them many years and I was thinking of getting a new wee toy, namely the Yamaha AS500, It would be driving a pair of unknown old Missions, on stands. I'll post pic if anyone can ID. Going in would be a Rega Planer 2/Linn k5/RB250 arm and some mid range Yamaha kit from 2000. Yes I'll get the model numbers. But mainly this will be fed vinyl.

CD: Yamaha cdx-496

Tape: Yamaha kx-493

The amps have been both fixed a couple of times, don’t wish to be flogging a dead horse, and I’ve had them since 1990 so fancy a change.

What your thoughts on the amp, and system balance.

Those would be Mission 732 speakers. I think they went out of production around 1993-1994 or thereabouts.

Deliriumbassist, i think they are 732i’s due to them being bi-wireable. 🙂
