Although I do like the eagles and I have their greatest hits CD, I've never heard that new one since it's one of the few that amazon never had samples of. Don't understand the logic when that is done. Why would a record label not want people to hear samples on amazon? Very odd. BTW, I also cannot get the sample in iTunes store either for that CD.

Try amazon.com rather than co.uk for samples - it usually has a wider selection.

Just as a response to Jason's suggestion - the radiator has now gone! Did it myself and followed it up with a more 'saleable' colour scheme.

Maybe not 100 times better, but it does look much nicer without that crappy old radiator behind it.

I would agree whole heartedly with the TV being an eyesore in a pleasant vista, I would go further than changing it..... I won't allow a telly anywhere near the hifi in my house incase some one wants to watch the bloody thing

Hang a nice picture instead or improve the sound of the room by putting up a wall hanging.

Just out of interest, does having the right hand speaker so close to the side wall cause no problems with the acoustics? I only ask because I am looking at the A6s myself at the moment but had been trying to work out where to put them to avoid them being that close to the side wall.

I understand the (fair) abuse my TV is getting. I really would upgrade it, but I can't justify the cost seeing as I only watch the odd bit of TV here and there. 8 times out of 10 I will listen to music.

With regards to the speaker being close to the sidewall - it doesn't seem to make any difference. The A6s really are a pair of versatile and easy to place speakers.

Just asking about the mains cleaner- palpable difference or not? I am tempted to think that it is some kind of witchcraft hocus pocus! seriously though, could you say, for example 10% improvement? I would really like your opinion on this as I am toying with the idea of getting such a piece of kit, but am unsure if it is going to be a worthwhile investment. Thanks. Keith (Sapnustmule)

Looks nice phil, i,ve got the oak versions but i prefer them with the grills off, don,t know why but i think they sound better, also mine are on carpet about 12 inches away from back wall.
