My Dolby 5.1 Surround Amp is Rubbish as a Stereo Music Amplifier

Hi,

As the title says, I'm very dissatisfied with the performance of my NAD T742 amplifier for playing stereo music. I've decided to buy a separate music amplifier, but I want to connect this to the front speakers of my home cinema system. The speakers are Acoustic Energy Aegis Evo 2.

Does anybody know if there's any kind of switch box on the market that could be used to ensure that only one amplifier is ever connected to my front speakers? I want to avoid buying yet another pair of speakers.

Thanks for any suggestion.

Use the front l/r preouts to a stereo amp. The thread with the best illustration of how to do this is here
