Maybe the Original Poster is from the Arthur Salvatore school of source selection?

Maybe he has thousands of LP's?

Maybe he's compared a few albums on vinyl and CD and has, more often than not, found the sound of the vinyl version more realistic than the CD?

Whatever the reason, there's not much point in discussing this with someone that is rather pro digitial. If you prefer digital, that's fine. If someone else prefers vinyl that's fine too.
 
richardw42, I prefer the sound of a Technics 1200 / 1210 (with the right arm and cartridge) over a Rega RP3 and RP9.

Gromit has owned a 1210. He prefers the Sony PSX6750. Which sells for about the same price 2nd hand as 1210's. Having heard his Sony, I'd agree with his assessment.
