Marantz CD6005 with the Q Acoustics concept 20 - good combination??

Hi all

I'm into home cinema more than hifi but my 15 year old technics hifi is just a tad past it's prime so I'm just needing something to play CDs when I'm on the computer or gaming.

i could go nuts with hifi gear but the combination of these two products comes in at roughly £600 and they both are getting very good reviews.

your thoughts??

You'll need an amplifier as well. Adding a PM6005 will take the cost up another £350-ish.

I reckon a better combination for your needs would be a Marantz MCR610 (network CD receiver with DAB) and a pair of Q Acoustics 2020i or Dali Zensor 1s. If you want to splash the cash, then the Concept 20s or Dali Zensor 3s are the ones to go for.
