When I came to the US I brought my CD player with me and for years ran it off a converting voltage supplier.
Worked for year until it stopped. No idea why.
I've toyed with having it repaired. But can't be bothered.

If anyone wants it let me know.

That's a nice offer for anyone in the US.

Presumably your mains conversion transformer is still giving it what it needs - If you haven't already, why not open it up for a look inside? (Not much bother 😉)

(I'd gladly take it off you if you were in the UK)
