Anyone heard this amp?

Im taking delivery of it tomorrow. Bought it used (one year old) and in mint condition from a friend of mine who is trading up. Got it for just under 500 £ and it sounded like a bargain. Its still in production and for sale, but not many reviews around.

very very good, bags of power with grip and control of a monster amp that normally cost a lot more. A bit dark and cold for British's ears (in general) that's why the Tact/Lyngdorf never really take off in UK. For the price, it is a super deal....enjoy

I got it today and so far im super happy with it, but my speakers are holiding it back big time. Im going to audition the B&W CM7's tomorrow. Talked to the store and they let me borrow a pair for a day. If i fall in love with that combo i will get a 100 pund discount on them as they have been a demo pair in the store for a couple of months

Hi Bonobo

Are you still interested in a LYNGDORF SDAI 2175?

I have one and would like to sell it for EUR 1100. Perfect function. Only 15 months old with 9 months warranty left.

The only problem is that it is in Denmark and I am afraid the cost for sending it to England could be too higt (around EUR 80 or something like that). Let me know if you are interest.

Regards

Hi Joe,

Just wondering how you got on with this amp ? Did you keep it ? I'm also being offered one at around £500 and will no doubt go and give it a try once my new 8200CDQ is run in (which will hopefully arrive this week), but am interested in hearing people's thoughts on it.

Pleased with it ? Recommend it ?

Thanks,

Baz

For £500 it's a bargain. Beautiful amp, battleship build, loads of power and grip, runs cold to the touch and very clean sounding. I went active so sold it on (for around £600).

Thanks imagical,

I'll be interested to give it a go. Out of interest, what did you have it partnered with ?

I have a pair of Monitor Audio Silver RS8s, currently fed by an Audiolab 8000S and 8000P bi-amped (I'm selling the 8000S and will be using the CDQ as pre-amp, and am also considering selling the 8000P, hence the interest in the SDA 2175)
