Looking for a multi region blu ray player, considering Sony 370, any thoughts?

My limited understanding is that this player will play any region dvd's, but only UK Blu Ray, is this correct?

I am hoping to connect it through my Arcam Solo Mini, could this be done via phono connections, does the player have these?

Any other recommendations appreciated

Yes, multiregion versions are unlocked for DVDs only, and yes it has stereo phono outs.
