Anyone who buys when the new models release, especially if they own the previous model, has more money than sense, in my opinion.
1) They always drop by 20-30% after six months or so
2) Typically they launch with issues, that in the case of Sony, take almost a year (or never) to resolve, cough UK apps cough. I know that is a licensing issue and not a fault of the actual TV, but many don’t see it that way, and quite rightly so.
Though I fully appreciate some like to have the latest ‘thing’ I’ve seen too many ‘I wish I’d kept…’ comments over the years.
