Hey got a good indoor arial and it picks up normal channels with ease, I live about 5 miles from the tower in wenvoe in cardiff, its only just down the road really.

But My freeview HD breaks up all the time, I dont want to drill and get outdoor arials in my bedroom as its a pain, and dont have the know how nor the money, and I only really watch TV during the night for bed.

Any cheap sugestions? Do the boosters work? anything else.

Thanks

Indeed. You could take your eye out bumping into one of those things in the dark! :)

That's why it's best to have an aerial installer come and put an outdoor aerial up. Outdoors.

For what it's worth I also use an indoor aerial in my bedroom. It is a Telecam which I use with a booster (I can't remember if this was the model that came with the booster or if I bought it seperately). It is sited in the window on a raised box in line with the transmitter which is approximately 12-miles away. Result? All channels rock solid including HD with no pixellation of break ups.
