I just got my first tv and I'm looking for advice on calibration/setup.

I got a 4k Samsung Q80T to use for gaming (PS5 mainly) and I'm interested in knowing which settings I should and shouldn't be using, is there a guide for helping set up TVs somewhere? I tried the Rtings.com one but it doesn't go into much detail or cover all of the settings.

The main settings I'm wondering about though are: Game motion plus, HGIG, HDMI black level, contrast enhancer and dynamic black equalizer. I've played around with them but have no idea which I should be using, or what my contrast, brightness etc. should be set at.

Any tips/advice much appreciated.

Which? magazine tests TVs and gives their suggested settings. For the 65” Q80T they suggested...

Colour. 35
Contrast. 50
Profile. Standard
Sharpness. 10
Backlight. 22

Nothing about gaming I’m afraid !
