Still not turned up yet! Sometimes I hear the fan, and other times I think they will not hear it though. Just got and wait and see I guess. I see the Samsung plasma is now out of stock at John Lewis, I hope I don't have to choose a different one.
The guy has just gone and the result is I am getting new fans! :clap: Pretty pleased to be honest, he said they were quite loud and should be able to do it by next Monday. He also said that he would come and do it here, so I am all sorted. Result! 🙂

Now struggling to get a NKU price match, I'm being quoted that the store that I would like to price match with needs to be within the same distance as my local JL..
Total Digital are some way outside that scope!
Think it's a case of NKU gone mad, and I've pointed out that JL have a store in Birmingham, plus I can buy from wherever I want to!
Let's see what happens eh?

I flirted with a VT65, but decided in the end that I wanted to try and get a TV didn't potentially have issues in the coming months (DSE/Fan noise etc)
At this rate, I'll probably end up with a 2014 TV though!

The foam fix is two little black strips that go in between the fan and the casing of the TV. This stops it from reving up when turning it off and on and leaves it quiet when on! Result! :cheer: Very happy. I was expecting new fans instead just got the foam fix, it is sorted anyway. :clap:
