Just bought them and getting them tomorrow. I think they are comfy, and good to use with Apple stuff and are among the best Wireless headphones you can get. Sold all my other headphones now.

These headphones are excellent and have real high sound quality from them. Highly recommend. They can mark your head after 30 mins use but they are stretching the more I use them and are never uncomfortable wearing them or afterwards.

Using them with the USB-C cable definitely improves the sound from them too. It’s like you are listening to a high quality HiFi/AV system.

Tried them with a USB C to USB C cable to my iPhone, admittedly not an Apple cable. But couldn’t get it to work.

All that happened that when I plugged the cable into the iPhone, it switched on the camera. When I switched to Qobuz and pressed play, the sound came out of the iPhone speakers.

I will have to find the original Apple cable to see if that makes a difference.

In the meantime enjoying My Jazz from Qobuz through them.

I got a full refund at John Lewis with them being not fit for purpose, because of the marking of my head!

Yes, I do miss the sound quality for sure, they were excellent. I am not sure what to do now and will take a long time to think about what to do next. I do have some Sony 720n headphones and I like them, so perhaps I will just keep with them.

My wired headphones are the Focal Elear and they are very good.

Try Focal headphones if you can as some people find them a bit tight on the head.

Yes, I tried them on in John Lewis yesterday and they were comfortable. I also listened to them and they didn’t appear to be limp at low volumes like the B&W PX8 headphones,

Slight twist and update.

When we left the UK, my Oticon NHS hearing aids got packed up, (by error) and are still in storage in the UK.

So, yesterday following a full A-Z medical last Monday, we went to a local Audiologist Centre in Wroclaw with the Doctor’s referral.

After about an hour came home with a pair of Phonak Audeo 170-Rs on trial for a week.

Now these are much newer and better spec than my NHS ones, but I do have to pay for these, albeit, with a NFZ refund.

My old Oticon hearing aids, which I had for a number of years, were battery operated and non-Bluetooth, they had volume adjustment, Loop connect and ability to turn off the rear microphone to make the more directional.

The new Phonak hearing aids are quite a bit more technically advanced. These are rechargeable and have Bluetooth. The settings are fully automatic and switch automatically for what you are going, general, TV, driving, music, etc. They connect to my iPhone via BT where I can make adjustments with the App. I can also stream music to them and answer phone calls with them.

They are quite light to wear, switch on and off automatically when you remove them or return them to the charging case.

Trying them with Qobuz at the moment and sound and sound stage is also OK, the sound does appear to be coming from all around my head.

I have tried them under my Apple AirPods Max and they are comfortable, but I maybe able to just use the Phonaks whilst streaming from the iPhone.

After comparing the Phonaks with the AirPods Max, the APM may just have the edge with a bit more depth and bass.

I think that I will bite the bullet and buy them after the trial period. They are far more comfortable and lighter than my old Oticons, more discrete whilst wearing them, better technology and more versatile.

Yes, my uncle has something like them and he thinks they’re really good too. And he has a Bluetooth device for the TV.
