Help with Pioneer 919 amp sound levels

Ive just purchased the above to go with my KEF 2005.3 speaker package. My problem is that I am constantly having to change the volume due to 'loud' parts of a movie being very loud and quite bits such as dialogue being barely listenable. Hope that makes sense!

Anyone have any ideas of ways I can solve this? Any help would be greatly appriciated

Check the settings. If you simply went with the Amp's auto setup, it might be off. Try running the setup again or make manual adjustments to either turn the centre channel up or the other channels down.
