Hi Guys.

Right now I have the nad d7050 paired with the kef ls50, it sounds good. But I think i need a bit more power/watts to make the kefs shine. I prefer a compact digital stereo amp like the nad d7050 but more powerful. Price not more than 1000 pounds.

Any recomendations?

The only amp I can think of, is outside your budget when new, but you might find one that is pre-owned - Bel Canto C5i

What's more important to you: class D amp or small size? or both?

Both i would say, im thinkin about a peachtree amp, they re small and powerful. But i dont know, any ideas?

Not Class D ... but ... Take a look at ex-demo or new old stock of the Leema Elements integrated amplifier. If the Pulse amplifier I had is anything to go by this should be a powerful and punchy amp. You can pick one up for around £800 with integrated DAC and XLR inputs as well as normal line inputs.

If you want digital amps you could look at the NAD C 390DD. Brand new would be out of your price range but second hand, you might find something.
