HELP BETTER SOUND = Kef 2005.3 Vs Q Acoustics QAV system ?

I desperately need some help. After months and months of scrolling through the forums, searching the internet and buying whathifi magazine, I have finally decidied to enter the home cinema market.

I own a panasonic plasma and hundreds of DVD's. I want to get the most of my TV and dvds through purchasing a home cinema system. The system will be used to enjoy watching all my dvds in surround sound (both standard DVDS and also Blu-Ray DVD's)

I have decided to purchase the Onkyo 606 amp with either the KEF 2005.3 speaker system or the Q Accoustics QAV system (5.1).

Both systems cost a similar price however, I would like to know which system generates the best sound ?

ill get to the point. guessing you have a hi-fi shop near you? if so go in there and ask them to give you a demo and show you the kit. that way you can make your own mind on the sound get some good advice and maybe get a good deal. i hate people coming in and saying that some one on a forum has said this is the best thing since sliced bread, this guy said this is the best way to set this up, put your spekers here that sort of thing. same with What HI-FI thay can only tell you so much and what thay say is good isn't all ways good to every one. you have your own mind dont let some one on a forum or in a mag tell you how this sounds use your ears and judge for your self.

Always best to judge for ones self and use the mags/forums as a guide to help you narrow down your shopping list. A listening session is ALWAYS recommended and a little input from a good specialist will fine tune your decision.
