Has anyone got a Denon 2310 and a Sony BDP 760? Having some issues and require some help

Hi, I just bought the bdp760 and after setting it up sucessfully I cannot get any sound or picture for some reason. At one point It was working intermitently when watching the dark knight but then the screen and sound went. Has anyone had this issue?

When connecting the blu ray player directly to my TV it works fine.

Almost certainly it's an HDMI handshaking/CEC control issue. In other words, there's nothing wrong with any of the components in your system - they're just not talking to each other.

Try turning off any HDMI control - it may be called Bravia Sync, Bravia Theatre Link or HDMI control - on all three components

I'm having a similar problem with the BDP-S760, the "HDMI" icon does not illuminate on the front panel when a HDMI cable is connected. I have a Pioneer PDP434 plasma screen, the HDMI is enabled on the screen, and yet I can't get an image. Though I can get an image with component.
Any ideas?

I think its a similar issue to mine with the hdmI NOT handshaking, although its currenly working fine today. As Andrew mentioned try turning HDMI control off on the tv and the blu ray if its not already off.

Actually how do I find out what version of firmware I have on my amp and how would I go about upgrading it? My Denon doesn't have a network connection.
