are there any plans for a group bluray player review with older players now at cheaper prices pitted against the new selection of players?? im thinking mainly about the denon 2500bt and pioneer lx-71 now available for less than £400, and how they would fair against players such as sony 760 and pioneer lx-52.

The LX52 player is better than the LX71 as has been mentioned by Clare in the forums before.

Personally, I would wait for the newer 2010 players to launch which are a significant step up in technology as compared to current BD players. The LX52 & S760 will become considerably cheaper. You'll then have a choice between the 2010 & 2009 players.

2500BT is a good player, & is a bit better than the S760 in terms of performance, but it's very slow to load. It's also got less features than the Sony. I personally don't see any point in buying older models when the newer ones are getting cheaper & faster with admirable performance.
