I can acquire either one second-hand for the same price, so I am wondering what I should consider when choosing. I will be connecting a Marantz 5001 CD player, along with an old pair of Tannoy Mercury MX2 speakers which I may replace (with other bookshelf speakers) depending on how well they're keeping up. I listen to a variety of music, mostly from soundtracks, and I'm prioritising clarity and balance over loudness. Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks!
