Denon DNP720AE

I recently read that the Marantz N7004 can now be updated to support gapless playback. Does anyone know whether this is true and, if so, whether the Denon DNP720AE can also benefit from such an update? I'd quite like a DNP720AE to complete my 720 system but not if it still can't support gapless FLAC files....
