All my music collection is on my Dell laptop and i have around 700 albums

I want to buy a dac or headphone amp to connect to my laptop as i dont think i am getting the best from my Grado SR80i headphones, they can sound a touch bright , would like some more treble & bass options

My Dell laptop does have digital Output Device (SPDIF Out)

Any advice woulf be very greatful

Regards Shane

For you budget I would search for a portable amp/DAC from companies such as iBasso, Firestone Audio, RSA and HeadRoom. In this case portable means small and in budget. These amp/DACs get good reviews, or in iBassos case with What Hifi, not bad reviews!

If I read the above correctly, there is no headphone amp with bass or treble controls that I know of. I would be inclined to say that if the Grado's sound bright, it is because your source sounds bright.
