Dac Advice (MF or Rega)

i there, I am just after a little DAC advice.

I am using a Project I-Pod dock box with built in Cyrus DAC. The dock box allows me to output a digital signal from the I-pod and by-pass both the inbuilt apple DAC and the Project DAC. I am curious to see what the impact musically will be and whether its worth me taking the upgrade.

I would be looking at the Musical Fidelity M1 DAC and the Project Rega - again any thoughts on these two would be helpful.

I listen to all types of musical but mainly folk, accoustic and live recordings. Any advice would be really appreciated.

Have a listen to them both and pick the one you like the sound of, failing that, pick the best looking.
